You may think crowdfunding is a new thing – but did you know the Ammon Pool was built using funds raised by the community?
It’s true! Ammon residents hosted movie nights at the Ammon High School (now called Ammon Elementary) to raise funds for the pool. It took 3 years of movie nights, but they raised the original $20,000 that it cost to build the pool.
